The Doghouse presents a free-to-all evening of swing dancing at the Russian Center! Free dance lessons at 7pm, with the music starting at 8pm.
Bring along your new-to-dance friends for a free beginning swing dance. Everyone from beginning to seasoned dancers is welcome!

This, our final event, will be held on Feb 13, 2025 - what was meant to be a free Open House event to bring in new dancers & reinvigorate Thursday night swing dancing, we're sorry to say, will now be a farewell dance party.
Tickets are not required, but if you can RSVP it will help our organizers with planning - thank you!

7-8 pm: RSVP for Swing dance lesson with Chad & Kristen (for beginners)
7-8 pm: RSVP for Intro to Collegiate Shag with Irina & Sonya
8 pm: Social dance starts!
Note: no regular series classes will be held on Thu, Feb 13
Important note re: parking! We advise not to park in the nearby parking garages as they close their doors at 9pm; you don't want to have your car stuck there and be stranded! Please use street parking or consider ride share and/or public transit.
What to wear/bring?
New to dance? Be certain to bring/wear these items:
BYO water bottle (refills available at our cooler)
Comfortable shoes (sneakers are ok, but for best results comfy shoes with a smooth sole are ideal)
Loose and/or layered clothing
